As they started their search in earnest at Siri's suggestion, Aedan had the impression that they were all children looking for that special writ in the King's law that allowed noble children to not have to obey their bed times. Aedan doubted they would find anything amongst the library on the cloth's partial insignia, but he picked a corner and started looking.
"Did I hear right that you write music, milady?" Aedan asked, his eyes on the shelves. His eyes scanned volume after volume for a title that might bear some relevance to their search, but he wasn't sure where in the King's Library the volumes discussing heraldry were. He wishes Brother Genitivi was here suddenly: the man had found Andraste's Resting place, he could certainly find the books of heraldry in the library.
He was amusing himself with that thought when he came to a set of books that bore his own family's heraldic emblem. He pulled the tomb out and briefly looked it over before pulling the next out. "Some heraldic volumes over here," he noted as he read one.

Siri's cheeks got redder than before when music was mentioned again, "I dabble but I am by no means close to the skill of a minstrel or bard." She tried to bury her face into a book but it held nothing promising and to hear more heraldic tomes were by Aedan made her unsure about moving to get them, but she forced herself to do so. They all had to work together on this no matter how close they all were to each other. She thought about how jealous some girls would be of her being in the same room as Alistair and Aedan. Her head shook then she focused on the task.
"I wonder how far these records go back..." Siri said as she brushed her fingers over the spine of one of the books to reveal their title.

Thread Status: This part of the story is complete
Summary: Lady Siri Ravyn had come to the Palace during a small Landsmeet to plead for help. She told Alistair of the trouble in Raimir only to be interrupted by the arrogant Bann Dyson who attempted to silence Siri. As a result of Bann Dyson's attack on Siri both Aedan and Alistair have come to her aid rather than siding with Dyson. Once Siri recovered from being struck by Dyson and having landed her own strike against him she told Aedan and Alistair in private chambers what had happened in Raimir. Her hopes was to find support in retaking the lands and finding out who is aiding Dyson. The only clue is a piece of cloth with only part of a symbol. Their search proved fruitless and left with them all with no leads. For the time being Siri and her family is under the protection of the King.
